Bidlisiw expands horizon to Camotes Island

In partnership with Karl Kubel Stiftung fur Kind und Familie (KKS-Germany), a new project of the Foundation is launched in Camotes Island, Cebu, Philippines to combat child trafficking.   It aims to integrate prevention and reintegration services in the existing community structures.  To be implemented for 4 years, it will cover the 4 Municipalities of the Island: San Francisco, Tudela, Poro & Pilar. Various activities are lined up such as capacity building for stakeholders, awareness raising campaigns for sectoral groups and community members as well as child and family healing and recovery services for survivors of trafficking.  The warm welcome made by the duty bearers from the mentioned municipalities and the willingness to partner in this kind of advocacy signals a strong collaboration between and among agencies.
