In support with the Philippine Dangerous Drugs Board REGULATION NO. 3, S. OF 2017 entitled “Strengthening The Implementation Of Barangay Drug Clearing Program”, Bidlisiw together with the Department of the Interior and Local Government Mandaue City conducted series of trainings to capacitate and increase the knowledge of the barangay anti-drug abuse council (BADAC) coming from the projects 11 pilot barangays.
For the year 2018, a 5-day training was implemented focusing on the Legal Bases and Functions of the BADAC, Functionality Assessment and Sensitization on the Plight of Recovering Warriors. These were attended by the 5 main members of the council composed by the following; Punong Barangays, Kagawad on Women and Children, Kagawad on Peace and Order, Chief Tanod and the BADAC Focal.
Last February 26 & 27, 2019, another 2 day training was imparted to them. This activity focuses on the integration of the Community Support & Aftercare Program Plan to the barangay, orientation on the different programs and services from the local partner agencies, A refresher on the different forms used and mandated by the Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) and lastly, a short discussion about Basic Documentation and Records Keeping.
