Bidlisiw continues to stand still despite the loss and damages brought by the fire incident last November 22, 2022 at Brgy. Looc, Mandaue City, Philippines. The fire that started in Sitio Paradise quickly spread in the community because most of the houses there were made of light and combustible materials.
Bidlisiw’s three-story office was engulfed in flames along with the other houses and establishments in the area that displaced an estimated 1,000 households. Amidst this crisis, we call for your support to continue our mission of helping the most disadvantaged.
Sitio Paradise needs your help now! While we find means to rebuild our facility, we wish to support and help the recovery of at least 700 families with priorities on providing the following:
- Family comfort packs (sleeping mat, blanket, pillow, towel, dining/cookware)
- Emergency cash assistance
- Care packs for kids (huggable pillow, coloring book and materials, toys, stress ball, biscuits/chocolates)
- Hygiene kits (deodorant, sanitary pads, toothbrush and toothpaste, bath soaps and shampoo)
- Undergarments, slippers, and school supplies
- Resettlement support for Bidlisiw
